DJ SANTAS XMAS DASH
Christmas of 2021, DJ Santa arrived to the Big Smoke riding his ‘triumph’ant steed, playing sweet and salty bangers and handing out naughty and nice Reese’s treats to get London in the Christmas spirit.
Through a guerilla-style activation, DJ Santa rocked up to 7 high footfall London locations. Where he handed out gifts from his Reese’s sack, with each gift (Reese’s product) having the chance to have £100 cash inside.
As well as receiving gifts, London was given the chance to win a big cash prize of £5k by scanning a QR code at our activation locations. This helped ease moments of disappointment when the gifts had all been given out.
DJ Santa was so popular that Greenwich council asked him to turn on their Market Christmas lights.
CLUES
To gain traction and awareness of our activation we teamed up with LADBIBLE. Leaving daily clues of DJ Santas whereabouts for Reese’s and Ladbible fans to solve.
PRODUCT CENTRIC SOCIALS
To get maximum output from the activation we made socials starring DJ Santa advertising Reese’s Christmas Season range.
PACKAGING
In 2022 we gave DJ Santa a facelift to create more shelf impact on the seasonal range packaging.
